    Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and method for electromagnetic monitoring of products of tobacco-processing industry in a monitoring zone. An apparatus includes a first imaging device aligned to the monitoring zone, a second imaging device aligned to the monitoring zone from a direction different from the first imaging device, and an evaluating device structured and arranged to evaluate image data recorded by the first and second imaging devices.
