Publication number: 20240267363Abstract: Data is anonymously transmitted from a vehicle to a computer via a data link. The vehicle authenticates itself for the data transmission. The vehicle authenticates itself as a client in a token server by one or more authentication methods. The authentication and authorization of the client is checked by the token server. If the token server determines that the client is not blocked, a currently valid fleet token, which is identical for all clients within a pre-determined period of time, is sent by the token server to the vehicle as a client. The vehicle waits for a random period of time within a configurable time interval before the vehicle uses the fleet token to transmit the data to the computer, such that a correlation between the vehicle and the transmitted data via a time measurement is prevented.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2022Publication date: August 8, 2024Inventors: Lisa KRANZ, Haifa BEN SALEM, Benjamin NEPP, Holger GLEMSER, Michael IMHOF, Martin EISELE

Patent number: 10808665Abstract: A camshaft (24), in particular for a pump (10), is proposed. The camshaft (24) has at least two cams (26, 28) which are arranged next to one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis (25) of the camshaft (24) and the cam elevations of which are arranged offset with respect to one another around the longitudinal axis (25) of the camshaft (24). An intermediate region (30) is provided between two adjacent cams (26, 28), and at least one bearing region (32) is arranged next to the cams (26, 28) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (25) of the camshaft (24).Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2018Date of Patent: October 20, 2020Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Michael Imhof, Robert Mayer

Patent number: 9846188Abstract: A method for detecting failures in electrical cable assemblies is provided. A cable test instrument obtains frequency domain data representing electrical characteristics of a cable link under test. A number of connectors in the cable link under test is determined based on the obtained frequency domain data. An estimated location of each of the connectors along the length of the cable link under test is determined by the cable test instrument. The connectors are ranked in accordance with their respective contribution to detected failures in the cable link under test.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2014Date of Patent: December 19, 2017Assignee: Fluke CorporationInventor: Michael Imhof

Patent number: 9303419Abstract: A two-component mold assembly for molding an opening within a concrete wall that provides access to a piping system supporting a sprinkler. The first component is an insert that is mounted on a concrete form, and the second component is a cover that slidably fits over the insert to define the opening in the concrete. The cover plugs the piping system during fabrication of the concrete wall and is removable from the opening in the hardened concrete after the concrete form and the mounted insert are removed.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2013Date of Patent: April 5, 2016Assignees: Tyco Fire Products LP, Tyco Building Services Products (Germany) GmbHInventors: Bernhard Abels, Michael Imhof
