Patent number: 10472091Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle is operated to utilize one or more tools included in an attachment assembly to obtain state measurements on an object being analyzed by the unmanned aerial vehicle. The attachment assembly can include one or more of a digital camera for capturing a digital image (or a series of images), a color meter for measuring a paint color, a thermographic camera for measuring infrared radiation, an electronic nose device for measuring odors, or an electronic distance measuring device for measuring a distance between objects. An operation of the unmanned aerial vehicle is then modified based on the obtained state measurements.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2016Date of Patent: November 12, 2019Assignee: ADESA, Inc.Inventor: James Michael Irish

Goal-Oriented, Socially-Connected, Task-Based, Incentivized To-Do List Application System and Method
Publication number: 20160378549Abstract: A system may provide a socially connected application for managing a list of tasks, assignable by one or more assignors to be performed by one or more assignees. The method may provide a multi-platform application, including a method when executed on a processor include receiving a plurality of tasks to be performed, tracking completion, and tracking points associated with successful completion. Tasks may be assigned and confirmed completed by assignors, and performed by assignees. The system may include a point value system enabling redemption upon completion of tasks having point value or currency value. The point reward system may be integrated with other technologies to facilitate transfer of exemplary fiat or crypto currency, loyalty program points, desired product purchases on behalf of the assignee or other benefit. The method may include: receiving, by processor, a plurality of tasks; and managing, a point system associated with completion of each task.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 22, 2016Publication date: December 29, 2016Applicant: Qwest.me, LLCInventor: James Michael Irish -
Publication number: 20160048898Abstract: Apparatus and methods for efficient delivery of a plurality of information regarding vehicles or chattel. In one embodiment, a request for information regarding a quality of plurality of items is received and an item information source is queried for the requested information, which is compiled and provided to the device. At a predetermined future time, second information is received and provided to the device. The second information updates one or more aspects of the requested information. In one variant, the plurality of items are vehicles and the request includes a VIN uniquely associated to each vehicle. The predetermined future time may be monitored an entity which requests the second information, or by an entity which provides it automatically. In another variant, the information source provides the second information in substantially real-time. Consideration may be required in exchange for one or both of the requested information and the second information.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2015Publication date: February 18, 2016Inventor: JAMES MICHAEL IRISH

Patent number: 8725581Abstract: Apparatus and methods for efficient delivery of a plurality of information regarding items for auction. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a server entity adapted to communicate with a plurality of information sources (such as sources having vehicle history information, estimated valuation information, etc.) The server entity compiles information received from the plurality of sources and formats the information for efficient delivery to a client device via e.g., SMS based text messaging, internet-based instant messaging, or the like. In another salient aspect of the invention, a client enters an auction identification number (AID) rather than a longer alpha-numeric VIN or other identification number. The server entity may also calculate and communicate estimates and/or alerts/reminders of when bidding will begin for particular items for auction which the client has expressed interest in. Exemplary client interface and business methods are also given.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: May 13, 2014Assignee: MoblieTrac, LLCInventors: Paul Breed, James Michael Irish

Publication number: 20070074656Abstract: An improved kinetic spray nozzle system design is disclosed. The nozzle includes an improved powder injector having an injector tube and a sleeve wherein the injector tube is received in the sleeve and secured to the sleeve. The powder injector further includes an air gap defined between an inner diameter of the sleeve and an outer diameter of the injector tube wherein the air gap is from 50 to 200 microns. The improved injector is capable of spraying a variety of powder materials including hard and “gummy” powders for without clogging for extended periods of time whereas under similar spray conditions previous designs became completely plugged within minutes. The improved injector design enabled the use of higher main gas temperatures to achieve improved coating formation and deposition efficiencies.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2005Publication date: April 5, 2007Inventors: Zhibo Zhao, Bryan Gillispie, TaeYoung Han, John Rosen, Michael Irish
