  • Publication number: 20240144805
Abstract: An integrated flood monitoring unit comprises a sensor capable of at least detecting one or more floodwater levels or measuring water levels and assembly of a data acquisition module, and a wireless transmitter that is specially adapted to be mounted one top and at least partially inside of a hollow pole secured in a vertical orientation at a fixed geographical location to monitor water levels, with the sensor being located nearer the bottom of the pole.

  • Patent number: 4007244
Abstract: In the process of loading successive molds of a multi-station rotary blow molding machine which involves closing mold sections on portions of a continuously downwardly extruding parison adjacent the outlet of an extruder head while the molds continue to move along a circular path, improvements occuring during startup of the machine are provided which comprise directing the parison out of the path while the machine speed is brought up to design rate and then severing the parison at the outlet with a device actuated outside of the circular path and in timed coordination with the position of that mold to be loaded with the next issuing parison portion.

  • Patent number: 3936263
Abstract: Plastic is cleanly severed between closely adjacent inner sections of radially operable blow molds in a rotary molding machine during mold opening by means of a wiper blade on the trailing face of the inner section of one mold angularly projecting toward and having its rear edge engaging the forward face of the next succeeding inner mold section, each such inner section being spring mounted and arranged because of the mold-opening cam configuration, to spring outwardly such that the rear edge of the blade slides along the forward face of the succeeding mold to consistently shear the plastic between such edge and such forward face.

    Filed: April 9, 1975
Date of Patent: February 3, 1976
