Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing container having compliance features in which the container has a bottom panel that defines at least one opening, a top panel that is secured to the bottom panel, and a moveable security member positioned between the bottom and top panels. The top panel provides a perforated access tab that is releasably secured to the bottom panel to form a stop that prevents movement of the security member. The top panel may further provide a perforated cut-out that provides an opening in the top panel to permit the dispensing of articles within the container. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing a packaging blank capable of forming a container having indicia and compliance features.

A method for internally reinforcing the hanger panel of the display carton comprises in one embodiment the steps of providing a blank and a reinforcing sheet, aligning the reinforcing sheet and blank relative to one another, and securing the reinforcing sheet to the blank, all on a single in-line apparatus.
