Patent number: 11977956Abstract: In a general aspect, calibration is performed in a quantum computing system. In some cases, domains of a quantum computing system are identified, where the domains include respective domain control subsystems and respective subsets of quantum circuit devices in a quantum processor of the quantum computing system. Sets of measurements are obtained from one of the domains and stored in memory. Device characteristics of the quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements, and the device characteristics are stored in a memory of the control system. Quantum logic control parameters for the subset of quantum circuit devices of the domain are obtained based on the set of measurements and stored in memory.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2023Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Rigetti & Co, LLCInventors: Benjamin Jacob Bloom, Shane Arthur Caldwell, Michael James Curtis, Matthew J. Patent number: 11954562Abstract: In a general aspect, a quantum computing method is described. In some aspects, a control system in a quantum computing system assigns subsets of qubit devices in a quantum processor to respective cores. The control system identifies boundary qubit devices residing between the cores in the quantum processor and generates control sequences for each respective core. A signal delivery system in communication with the control system and the quantum processor receives control signals to execute the control sequences, and the control signals are applied to the respective cores in the quantum processor.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Rigetti & Co, LLCInventors: Matthew J. Reagor, William J. Zeng, Michael Justin Gerchick Scheer, Benjamin Jacob Bloom, Nikolas Anton Tezak, Nicolas Didier, Christopher Butler Osborn, Chad Tyler Rigetti

Patent number: 11914780Abstract: A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. The finger-mounted units may each have a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have sidewall portions coupled by a portion that rests adjacent to a user's fingernail. The body may be formed from deformable material such as metal or may be formed from adjustable structures such as sliding body portions that are coupled to each other using magnetic attraction, springs, or other structures. The body of each finger-mounted unit may have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile that leaves the finger pad of each finger exposed when the body is coupled to a fingertip of a user's finger. Control circuitry may gather finger press input, lateral finger movement input, and finger tap input using the sensors and may provide haptic output using the haptic output device.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2022Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Paul X Wang, Alex J. Patent number: 9521797Abstract: An agricultural implement is provided that includes a ground engaging tool configured to engage soil in a working position and to disengage the soil in a non-working position. The agricultural implement also includes an actuating cylinder coupled to the ground engaging tool and configured to transition the ground engaging tool between the working position and the non-working position based on a flow of fluid from a fluid supply system. In addition, the agricultural implement includes at least one sensor configured to output a signal indicative of a fluid pressure within the fluid supply system, and a controller configured to determine whether the ground engaging tool is in the working position or the non-working position based on the first signal.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2014Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: CNH Industrial Canada, Ltd.Inventors: Nicholas George Alfred Ryder, Cory Adrian Yuen, Anthony Charles Rapley, Michael J. Bloom
