  • Patent number: 5590914
Abstract: A field assembled gas riser includes an adapter having plural inner grooves that receive the outer surface of a plastic gas line as it is plastically deformed by axial insertion of a stiffener into the gas line. The gas line is terminated at a desired location, the adapter slid over the terminated end, and a stiffener manually inserted into the gas line. Continued axial advancement of the stiffener acts as a mandrel to plastically deform the gas line into the grooves and provide a secure, sealed arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4931721
Abstract: Apparatus for automatically measuring and recording, in a seqential manner, various parameters such as capacitance, dissipation factor and insulation resistance, of each of a plurality of capacitors under substantially identical test conditions. The apparatus discharges residual charge on each capacitor.

  • Patent number: 4906939
Abstract: Test fixtures, each being adapted to receive a capacitor, are connected through a relay network to a time variable high voltage source. Predetermined relays are energized in a predetermined sequence to connect a given capacitor to the source. A high voltage signal having a predetermined waveform is applied to the capacitor associated with an energized relay. When the current through the given capacitor exceeds a threshold, the voltage value then being applied to the capacitor determines the breakdown voltage of the capacitor.
