  • Patent number: 7243674
Abstract: A collapsible enclosure includes a roof, a rear wall, a pair of sidewalls, a front wall, each wall having an outside and inside surface and an open bottom. The cover includes heat insulation material covering substantially all of each inside surface of each wall. A hinge pivotally mounts the roof to rear wall and a hinge pivotally mounts each side wall to the rear wall. Bolt fasteners removably attach the front wall between the side walls. A heating element is disposed within the housing. The front wall includes an upper panel and a lower panel mounted together by a hinge in a manner to allow the upper panel to be foldable outwardly and downwardly to position the outside surface of the upper panel against the outside surface of the lower panel.

  • Patent number: 5809954
Abstract: Start of fuel delivery for a fuel-injected engine having separate unit injectors is adjusted by effecting a positional adjustment of camshaft lobes on a camshaft. The camshaft is used to operate the unit injectors, as well as control exhaust valve operations. By separately controlling the position of the cam lobes which operate the unit fuel injectors, a change it start of fuel delivery is effected. A change in relative position of the cam lobes is accomplished by shifting a guide rod within a hollow body of the camshaft. The change in position of the guide rod, in turn, effects a change in position of the cam lobes which are connected to the guide rod.

  • Patent number: 5630402
Abstract: An electronic timing system for controlling the injection angle of a fuel pump, comprising an input sleeve (12), an output drum (36), an intermediate drive sleeve (30), a drive plate (60), a drive yoke (76), and a stepper motor (90). Drive sleeve (30) includes a pair of radially inwardly and outwardly projecting drive pins (32), and drum (36) and input sleeve (12) both include helical slots (38) and (16), respectively, through which pins (32) project. Vertical movement of yoke (76) causes axial movement of drive plate (60) and drive sleeve (30), which causes a relative rotational adjustment of angle between input sleeve (12) and output drum (36), for retarding and advancing the timing of the fuel injection system.

  • Patent number: 5462452
Abstract: A short electrical extension cord (10) is provided which is designed for use with large, mobile appliances (30) such as carpet shampooers or the like, in order to prevent damage to the male plug or electrical connector (34) forming a part of the appliance (30). The short extension cord (10) includes a short stretch of electrical cable (12) with a female electrical receptacle (16) and male electrical connector (18) operatively coupled to the cable stretch (12) adjacent the opposed ends thereof. In use, the male connector (18) is inserted into a stationary receptacle outlet (40), and the appliance male electrical connector (34) is inserted into female receptacle (16). In use of the appliance (30), the flexibility of cable stretch (12) assures that, in the event that an undue tension load is placed on appliance power cord (32), a separation occurs between appliance male electrical connector (34) and short extension cord female receptacle (16) prior to any damage to the male electrical connector ( 34).

  • Patent number: 4124542
Abstract: A cleaning composition especially useful for carpet cleaning and spotting is provided which gives results heretofore unobtainable with prior compositions. The composition hereof is capable of removing a virtually unlimited variety of carpet stains and the like which have heretofore required a large number of specialized cleaning agents. The composition preferably includes respective amounts of ammonium lauryl sulfate 2-butoxyethanol, mineral spirits, isopropanol, sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and an optical brightening agent.
