Abstract: A system and method collects fees for usage of a dynamically constructed digital product including a plurality of diverse digital components, each diverse digital component having different restrictions and usage fees. The system and method enable a user to select parameters for a dynamic digital product; identify diverse individual digital components needed to construct a dynamic digital product; dynamically construct the dynamic digital product based upon the identified diverse digital components; collect information directed to restrictions and usage fees for each identified diverse digital component; generate an integrated license for the dynamically constructed digital product based upon the collected information; monitor individual usage of the diverse individual digital components; and generate payments, in response to monitored individual usage of the diverse individual digital components, to entities associated with the diverse individual digital components.

Abstract: A method receives a user login from a user. The method grants, to the user, access to a user account of the user maintained by a computerized document management system based on the user login. The computerized document management system is accessible to a plurality of users. The method receives a request from the user to provide a requested document and the method determines whether the requested document should be password protected. If the requested document should be password protected, the method generates a unique password for the requested document. The unique password is unique to the user and is based upon information contained within the user account by the computerized document management system. Again, if the requested document should be password protected, the method adds the unique password to the requested document to generate a password-protected document and sends the password-protected document to the first user.

The method provides for hosting the software application on a cloud server and providing the software application to a group of users and monitors usage of the software application. Next, new usage patterns are identified by identifying current usage patterns based on the monitoring are identified and comparing the current usage patterns to stored usage patterns. After that, bugs are identified by: 1) automatically generating a set of new test matrices based on the new usage patterns; 2) automatically running the set of new test matrices on the software application, while the software application is being used; 3) recording error messages generated; and 4) correlating the error messages with the new usage patterns to identify the bugs. Then, a reporting message is generated to report the identified bugs.

Abstract: Job tickets with banner descriptions and document descriptions are automatically generated by a print shop's DMS. The banner descriptions and the document descriptions are composed of PDL instructions. Document descriptions can be managed and altered without necessarily affecting the job ticket. The banner page PDL instructions are specially designated so that banner pages can not be managed without also managing the job ticket. Preserving the banner page within a job ticket prevents unwanted side effects from disturbing the print shop's work flow.

The method may include receiving image data for printing a print job, the print job having more than one page and including one or more document and the image data being received only one time for each print job, receiving a signal to print the print job, wherein the received signal indicates that at least one page of the print job is to be printed in a different quantity than other pages in the print job, and printing the print job according to the received signal.

Abstract: Methods and systems for maintaining color consistency in print-on-demand applications are disclosed. Initially, a plurality of default color settings applicable to a plurality of print-on-demand operations can be established. Thereafter, color consistency can be selectively imposed across a plurality of print-on-demand operations based on the plurality of default color settings applicable to the plurality of print-on-demand operations. Finally, a print-on-demand media product can be rendered in response to selectively imposing color consistency across the plurality of print-on-demand operations. An end-to-end print-on-demand workflow is therefore disclosed herein that describes how to create and print color books while maintaining color consistent at each step of in the work follow.
