    Abstract: This invention relates to a socket wrench which is capable of loosening or tightening a nut or bolt by either rotation of the wrench in a direction conducive to effect such tightening or loosening in a conventional manner or by rotation of the wrench handle along its longitudinal axis. The wrench provides a ratcheting action so that the initial positions of the wrench or the wrench handle can be reachieved during tightening or loosening.
