  • Patent number: 10767432
Abstract: A well drilling fishing equipment alignment device that includes a base and an inner support that is connected to and that extends from that base. The inner support is configured to receive, hold, and vertically align an equipment retrieval device, typically an overshot. Also included is an outer cover that is configured to cover and protect at least a portion of the equipment retrieval device when it is connected to the inner support. The base provides a flat bottom and a handling feature. The inner support includes a preferably hollow vertical support member that includes a lower end guide support that mates with a feature of the equipment retrieval device. Beneficially the guide support includes a perimeter lip that engages a bottom edge of an equipment retrieval device guide to form a joint.

  • Patent number: 5094798
Abstract: In the manufacture of lightweight structural profile including a resin-bonded core of closely compacted particulate filler, loose filler is packed into a shaping die by means of applied vacuum. The filler is packing within a sheath of glass rovings which is used to draw the packed filler through the die. As the sheath and packed filler are progressed through the die, a liquid bonding resin is introduced to permeate and bond together the packed filler and the sheath. The filler includes layer mineral foam in a coarse particulate form and a free-flowing relatively fine material (such as hollow silicate microspheres) as an additional filler, the additional filler being vacuumed in to occupy the interstices of previously packed foam filler.

  • Patent number: 4481701
Abstract: A profile for use in the manufacture of frames for windows and the like comprises a core (1) of generally rectangular cross section of laminated plywood or cement-bonded fibrous material with a cladding (3) of plastics material, for example polyvinylchloride or polycarbonate, extruded therearound. The extruded cladding (3) provides, extending along the length of the profile, a glass (or other) panel retaining member (9) which is inclined inwardly (preferably at 45.degree. or substantially so) over a surface of the profile, and an undercut rib 11 spaced from the member (9). In manufacturing frames from the profile the latter is cut into appropriate lengths by saw cuts (31-39) extending at 45.degree.

  • Patent number: 4420920
Abstract: This invention is concerned with cored extruded plastics profiles, suitable for use in the manufacture of frames for windows and the like, comprising a core of shape-retaining material and a cladding of plastics material extruded therearound. The invention is also concerned with methods of manufacturing frames for windows or the like from such profiles, including methods of forming the corner joints of said frames, and with glazing clips particularly suitable for use in assembling glass or other panels in said frames.
