  • Patent number: 11932302
Abstract: A compact electric transport device that is convertible between a stowed configuration and a riding configuration is described. In one embodiment, a foldable steering assembly for an electric transport device includes a steering column disposed within an opening along a top surface of the electric transport device. The steering column has a horizontal orientation that extends along a length of the electric transport device within the opening in a folded position. The foldable steering assembly also includes a steering shaft connected to an axle of a wheel of the electric transport device. The foldable steering assembly further includes a hinge connecting the steering column to the steering shaft. The steering column is configured to transition to a vertical orientation that is perpendicular to the opening along the top surface of the electric transport device in an extended position.

  • Publication number: 20240081440
Abstract: Improved personal protective equipment facial wear including, in one embodiment, an at least partly adhesive mask, and one or more adhesive eye shields. In one implementation, the mask avoids significant contact with the delicate periorbital skin of the wearer, yet provides a substantially airtight seal so as to preclude moisture vapor transfer and “fogging” of eyeware or instruments. In another implementation, adherence of the eye shield is at least partially overlapping with the mask and creates an at least partial seal around a perimeter of the eye shield. Further, an at least partial seal is formed around a perimeter of the mask. The mask and eye shield additionally prevent nasal air flow obstruction, and address the problem of skin irritation and attachment during normal facial expression and movement of the wearer.

  • Patent number: 11914780
Abstract: A finger-mounted device may include finger-mounted units. The finger-mounted units may each have a body that serves as a support structure for components such as force sensors, accelerometers, and other sensors and for haptic output devices. The body may have sidewall portions coupled by a portion that rests adjacent to a user's fingernail. The body may be formed from deformable material such as metal or may be formed from adjustable structures such as sliding body portions that are coupled to each other using magnetic attraction, springs, or other structures. The body of each finger-mounted unit may have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile that leaves the finger pad of each finger exposed when the body is coupled to a fingertip of a user's finger. Control circuitry may gather finger press input, lateral finger movement input, and finger tap input using the sensors and may provide haptic output using the haptic output device.

  • Publication number: 20230361714
Abstract: A method for constructing a solar cell farm includes steps of: (1) installing a plurality of reinforced concrete piles on a latticed divided surface of a ground or a water level of the foreshore in a solar cell panel installation area; (2) constructing a lattice-type truss by connecting a plurality of steel beams in a transverse direction on the concrete piles and a plurality of rails on the steel beams in a longitudinal direction on the steel beams; (3) installing a solar cell panel by varying the slope of the panel by varying the length of a length-variable connection means between the plurality of rails of the truss and 4 axes of the left, right, upper and lower sides of the solar cell panel; and (4) constructing a rail for driving the track vehicle between the rails mounted on the transverse steel beams of the truss.

  • Publication number: 20200244211
Abstract: This invention is related to the method and system apparatus for installing large scale solar cell panels on mountain slopes. More specifically, because the existing method of installing solar cell modules above ground requires a broad land area and has the problem of the impossibility of constructing solar photovoltaic power stations that can replace nuclear power plants in a nation with limited land area, this invention is providing the effective method of constructing large scale photovoltaic power generation station and application system apparatus therein that increases the land-use efficiency by providing the system apparatus and method for tiered installation of several solar cell panels in top-to-bottom vertical direction using abandoned mountain slopes.

  • Publication number: 20190289870
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system apparatus for mass production of vegetable substitute milk by combining nutritional components and health functional components of cereals including quinoa, amaranth, or soybean in order to solve side effects occurring since a human beings consumes cow's milk used for the rapid growth of calves. More specially, the present invention provides a method and system apparatus wherein, in order to solve the problem in which a chemical emulsifying agent has to be added for the emulsification between purified water and an oil component of a material, including quinoa, amaranth, or soybean when the material is prepared into a milk form of liquid, the material is diffused and then finely pulverized by a nano-pulverizing unit, thereby mass-producing pure vegetable milk substitute, which is as soft as milk, through the molecular binding between nanoparticles of the material and water molecules of the purified water without adding any chemical agent.

  • Patent number: 8518464
Abstract: A method for manufacturing whole soy milk by sterilizing raw beans with the bean skins by heating in a heating chamber, transforming the starch into soluble dextrin, and then grinding the beans into an ultra-fine particle to be manufactured into whole soy milk. When the starch is transformed into dextrin by means of the above-described method, whole soy milk which is as smooth as bovine milk can be manufactured, said whole soy milk being easier to digest and having an excellent taste and flavor due to the removal of the inherent fishy taste and grassy flavor or “stink’ of the beans. By using the entire bean the problem of waste generated in traditional soy milk manufacturing processes is resolved, and soy milk yield is greatly improved. Further, a method is provided for manufacturing whole black soybean milk utilizing the quality anticancer ingredients found in the black bean skins.
