  • Patent number: 5133148
Abstract: A fishing lure to simulate a dragonfly in a hovering orientation above a body of water is presented to effect luring of various game fish. The dragonfly member is defined by an elongate body mounting a plurality of cluster hooks at spaced intervals along the bottom surface thereof. The dragonfly structure may be mounted in a suspended orientation relative to the body of water utilizing a flotation device, or alternatively utilizing a drive motor and associated receiver and transmitter to effect hovering orientation of the lure. Further, the lure may be formed with a concave nose and a container within the body to effect selective tippage and repositioning of the body during its displacement through the body of water.
