  • Patent number: 12245117
Abstract: A wireless communication system includes an external provider subsystem and an electronic network subsystem in operable communication with the external provider subsystem. The electronic network subsystem is configured to provide a first microservice and a second microservice different from the first microservice. The wireless communication system further includes an in-home subsystem (i) separate from the external provider subsystem, (ii) in operable communication with the electronic network subsystem, and (iii) including a first micronet and a second micronet different from the first micronet. The first micronet is configured to operably interact with the first microservice, and the second micronet is configured to operably interact with the second microservice. The wireless communication system further includes at least one electronic device configured to operably connect with one of the first micronet and the second micronet.

  • Publication number: 20140039826
Abstract: System and method for testing units under test (UUTs). A test sequence is provided that includes an acquisition sequence and a processing sequence. The acquisition sequence may include a sequence of acquisition functions for performing acquisitions on one or more UUTs. The processing sequence may include a sequence of processing functions for processing measurement data resulting from the acquisitions. Each acquisition function may be performed, including performing a plurality of acquisitions, thereby generating respective measurement data sets, and storing the respective measurement data sets in order of the acquisitions. Each processing function may be performed, including retrieving and processing each respective measurement data set in order of acquisition. At least one processing function of the processing sequence may be performed concurrently with at least one acquisition function of the acquisition sequence.

  • Patent number: 8011511
Abstract: A packing material is made of a thin plastic bag with compressible beads inside, and with the pressure inside the bag being sufficiently less than the ambient pressure outside the bag to keep the beads in a non-free-flowing state, the packing material being generally flat, with a generally constant cross-sectional thickness and having at least one trough of lesser cross-sectional thickness to serve as a bend line.

  • Patent number: 6208266
Abstract: A remote data acquisition and processing system is provided. One embodiment of the system of the present invention for use in monitoring utility operation includes at least one optical imaging device for generating computer-readable image data of a visual representation, generated by a utility meter, of utility operation-related data. A host processor, which is remotely located from the optical imaging device and the utility meter, is also provided in this embodiment of the present invention for generating the utility operation-related data from the image data and for storing the image data.

  • Patent number: 6085909
Abstract: A packaging bag for the packaging of articles comprises an envelope made of flexible material containing light weight, energy absorbing, compressible particles in a closed pack relationship, the envelope being sealed into an air tight relationship about said particles and evacuated to an air pressure significantly less than atmospheric pressure such that the particles are maintained in a non-free flowing condition by exterior atmospheric pressure. The bag can then be molded around an article, placed within a container for shipment. Thereafter, the bag can be reused with other articles by restoring its original shape and then molded around the other articles, even if differently shaped, as before.

  • Patent number: 4068202
Abstract: Discloses a switch for use with a circuit board for simultaneously closing one or more circuits. A switch cover mounts therein a reciprocable member whose permanent strip magnet carries one or more contact elements for circuit completion. The circuit board carries another permanent strip magnet. The strip magnets have consecutive, alternating polarities such that, in the closed position of the switch, the strip magnets have opposite attracting polarities, and such that, in the open position of the switch, the strip magnets have the same and repelling polarities.
