    Abstract: A pharmacy post office receives prescriptions and produces through an automated pill dispensing and packaging system machine-sortable pharmacy letters that are sortable by automated mail sorting machines into postal delivery routes and delivered as first class or priority mail pieces by the postal delivery persons along their customary routes. A track and trace system may provide a delivery schedule to the patient and/or prescribing doctor based on the time of day the pharmacy letter is provided to the automated mail sorting machines. When a pharmacy letter is delivered by the postal delivery person, he or she scans the tracking code and transmits information back to the track and trace system, which then updates its delivery schedule to show the completed delivery.

    Abstract: An example exhaust duct assembly includes a front liner, an intermediate liner and a rear liner. Each of the front, intermediate and rear liners include an inner liner exposed to combustion gases and an outer liner spaced radially apart from the inner liner. An air passage defined between the inner liner and the outer liner provides cooling air utilized for insulating an inner surface of the exhaust duct assembly. A closeout member is provided between the inner and outer liner and defines a portion of an air passage between the closeout member and the inner liner. Air flowing through the air passage is injected into a joint to provide cooling. The closeout member includes a horizontal leg that is bendable in a radial direction to accommodate relative movement between the inner liner and the outer liner.

A multitude of metering sheets are mounted directly to the liner hot sheet surface. Each metering sheet is mounted to the iso-grid to define a multitude of discrete chambers. A seal is located in a pattern along a subset of the iso-grid ribs to further segregate the surface covered by each metering sheet into a further number of discrete subchambers. Each metering sheet includes a multitude of metering sheet apertures and the surface between the iso-grid ribs of the liner hot sheet include a multitude of hot sheet apertures. By varying the ratio between the number of metering sheet apertures and the number of hot sheet apertures, the pressure in each chamber is defined to efficiently maintain the minimum desired pressure ratio across the hot sheet without undue wastage of cooling airflow.

    Abstract: A peer-to-peer storage system includes a storage coordinator that centrally manages distributed storage resources in accordance with system policies administered through a central administrative console and a lexical recovery sub-system that automatically creates versions of files that are thereafter maintained by the system. The storage resources, or “nodes,” are otherwise unused portions of storage media, e.g., hard disks, that are included in the devices such as personal computers, workstations, laptops, file servers, and so forth, that are connected to a corporate computer network, and are thus otherwise available only individually to the respective devices. The storage coordinator assigns the nodes to various “replication groups” and allocates the storage resources on each of the nodes in a given group to maintaining dynamically replicated current and previous versions of the group files.

    Abstract: A pivot is coupled to a water craft. A lever arm is pivotally coupled to the pivot at one end. A tow spool is coupled to the lever arm at an end opposite the pivot. The tow spool is configured to provide an attachment for a towline. A recoil device is coupled to the water craft at one end and coupled to the lever arm at the opposing end. The recoil device stores energy as a towing drag force is applied to the tow spool to cause the lever arm to move from a first position to a second position. The recoil device then provides a restoring force to cause the lever arm to move from the second position to the first position as the towing drag force is reduced.

The improvement resides in enabling the rider of a personal sit down hydrofoil to adjust the binding to accommodate his/her leg length and increase the amount of control the rider has when mounted to the ski.

    Abstract: A displacement transducer in which relative displacement between a magnet and a Hall junction is sensed. Magnetic flux from the magnet is linked to the Hall junction in a direction perpendicular to the flow of current through the Hall junction. Relative displacement between the magnet and the Hall junction causes a change in the magnetic flux linked to the Hall junction which in turn causes a change in transverse voltage across the Hall junction. A signal representative of this voltage change is output from the transducer. The transducer may be part of a NEMS or MEMS.
