  • Patent number: 11957609
Abstract: A delivery device for controllably delivering multiple implants (e.g., intravascular implants) is described herein. The delivery device may include a lockout mechanism to prevent against inadvertent implant deployment prior to initial use. The delivery device may also include a re-sheath mechanism to allow for re-sheathing of an inner core assembly prior to removal of the delivery device from an initial deployment site. The delivery device may also further include a mechanism configured to prevent against re-sheathing of a partially-deployed implant.

  • Patent number: 11706089
Abstract: Data is received describing a local model of a first device generated by the first device based on sensor readings at the first device and a global model is updated that is hosted remote from the first device based on the local model and modeling devices in a plurality of different asset taxonomies. A particular operating state affecting one or more of a set of devices deployed in a particular machine-to-machine network is detected and the particular machine-to-machine network is automatically reconfigured based on the global model.

  • Publication number: 20200228602
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, an apparatus, and a computer-implemented method to select respective physical infrastructure devices of an edge computing system to implement services requested by respective service-requesting clients. The computer-readable storage medium includes computer-readable instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform operations comprising, for each candidate physical infrastructure device, calculating a utility score corresponding to each of the services requested, wherein: the utility score corresponds to one of each of the respective service-requesting clients or each subgroup of a plurality of subgroups of the respective service-requesting clients.

  • Patent number: 5315286
Abstract: A vehicle security system including a key switch, a first relay, a second relay, a first timer, a second timer, a warning device, and a push-button switch. The key switch activates and deactivates the system. Once the key switch is in an operative position and the system is activated, the vehicle's ignition switch in an operative position activates the second relay. Operation of the second relay, or of a vehicle door switch, activates the first relay which starts the first and second timers. The first timer initiates a first timing delay and, at the end of this timing delay, activates the warning device. The warning device warns the driver that the alarm sequence has been initiated. The push-button switch initiates an engine standby mode. The second timer initiates a second timing delay and cuts off the engine unless a standby mode is initiated before the end of the second timing delay.

  • Patent number: 5273437
Abstract: An audience participation system and method utilizing wireless transmission is provided. The system includes a plurality of modules in the possession of an audience, each module having a keypad or other means which is activated by a member of the audience in order for the audience to respond to a question posed by the speaker during his presentation. After the speaker poses a question, the audience responds by supplying information through a physical input into the module. The module then encodes the information provided into an encoded electrical pattern. This encoded electrical pattern is modulated into an electromagnetic signal which is then electromagnetically transmitted. A base station has a receiver for capturing the electromagnetic signal which is then demodulated into the encoded electrical pattern originally transmitted.
