  • Patent number: 11300286
Abstract: Air infusing apparatus for generating air-infused steam. A mixer mixes air from a source of air with steam from a source of steam. An exhaust exhausts the mixed air and steam.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10166170
Abstract: The steamhead includes a dispensing chamber having an inlet connected to receive steam from a steam generator located outside of the steam bath enclosure and a steam outlet. The steamhead is mounted between studs which support the enclosure wall by a bracket that is adjustable to accommodate studs of different spacing. A hollow cylindrical member extends from the front of the chamber in alignment with the steam outlet. A first part is telescopically received within the hollow member to accommodate enclosure walls of various thicknesses. A flange extends from the rim of the first part to overlap the chamber edge which defines the steam outlet. A second part having a round, concave surface facing the interior of the enclosure is rotatably mounted within the first part for controlling the flow of steam through the steam passageway. The chamber includes baffles for reducing the force of the emitted steam.

Inventors: Michael J. Pinkus, Peter A. Titolo, Dave LaPorta
  • Patent number: 10105283
Abstract: The dispensing chamber of the steamhead is mounted between the studs within the wall of a steam bath enclosure. The chamber is isolated from the environment and includes an elongated steam outlet extending outwardly from the chamber, through an opening in the wall. The rectangular outer edge of the outlet is flush with the interior surface of the wall and is the only portion of the chamber visible from inside the enclosure. The outer edge of the outlet is shaped to coordinate with the appearance of a linear drain. It also allows the steam to be dispensed over a wider area. The outlet has a steam flow capacity greater than the steam flow capacity of the inlet such that steam expands within the chamber as the velocity of the steam is reduced. Internal baffles reduce noise. Light sources may be associated with the chamber.
