  • Publication number: 20240166570
Abstract: A process for producing ammonium thiosulfate from anaerobic digestate. The process involves injecting sulfur dioxide or ammonium bisulfite into a column containing liquid digestate and biogas to produce a sulfite solution. The sulfite solution further reacts with hydrogen sulfide entrained in the biogas and the digestate to produce commercially desirable ammonium thiosulfate and sweet biogas.

  • Publication number: 20240124318
Abstract: A process for producing ammonium sulfite and ammonium bisulfite from an ammonia gas stream. The process involves injected sulfur dioxide into a circulating liquid stream to an optimal pH that captures gaseous ammonia from a gas stream. The captured ammonia reacts with sulfur dioxide and water to form the desired products.

  • Publication number: 20240042381
Abstract: A process for substantially removing hydrogen sulfide from an ammonium sulfate solution. The process involves maintaining the pH of the solution to a range that optimally removes entrained hydrogen sulfide. The hydrogen sulfide is then reacted with sulfites, bisulfites, or sulfur dioxide to form ammonium thiosulfate.

  • Patent number: 4482137
Abstract: A trunk shade for an automotive luggage compartment having a central torque tube removably installed and held against rotation in fixed mounting brackets in which a torsional windup spring accommodating shade extraction and retraction has a prewind retention feature provided by an axial lead screw for a clutch dog which reaches a limit stop at a prewound retracted condition unaffected when the shade is removed from the mounting brackets. Optionally, a stop may also be provided at the other end of its travel to limit extraction of the shade. Helical torsional windup springs, of either compression or extension type, are adapted to take up mounting end clearance and in other respects eliminate shade rattle.
