  • Patent number: 10711959
Abstract: A water lantern for floating on water with an LED candle is provided. The water lantern includes a base, dowel rods and a curtain. The base is designed with a tiered structure extending to a top surface with apertures formed therein to receive the dowel rods and a central recess for receiving the LED candle. The curtain is removably positioned over the base with the dowel rods maintaining the curtain in an expanded open position. The tiered structure of the base enhances the floating stability of the water lantern while also holding the LED candle above the water level to protect the LED candle from splashing water.

  • Patent number: 5498162
Abstract: A method for demonstrating lifting technique includes providing a substantially rectangular box in a first stationary position on a ground surface, inserting a first weight into the box, approaching the box in the first stationary position at approximately a 45.degree. angle such that one's feet are wider than shoulder distance apart when one is adjacent the box, bending one's knees such that one's body is close to the box, and lifting the box from the first stationary position. The box has an internal storage area formed by a top wall, a bottom wall contacting the ground surface in the first stationary position and being movable to provide access to the internal storage area, a front wall, a back wall, and first and second opposed side walls. The first and second side walls each have handles thereon adjacent the top wall so that the box may be lifted with or without the handles.

  • Patent number: 4988091
Abstract: An elbow and forearm rehabilitation device to be grasped by a hand of a user includes a frame having first and second side members. Each side member includes first and second ends. A hand grip is interconnected to the first ends of the side members for receiving the hand of the user between the first and second side members. The first and second side members include a bend disposed between the first and second ends, such that the first and second side members disposed between the bend and the second ends lie in a plane substantially parallel to the plane of the user's arm when the back of the hand is rotated, upon full rotation of the wrist, toward the user's elbow.

  • Patent number: 4893572
Abstract: In an agriculture grain drill which includes a pair of furrow forming disks rotatably mounted on a support connected with the grain drill in trailing fashion and on which downward pressure is exerted by the grain drill, a furrow closing disk depth control wheel trails the furrow disks and is vertically adjustable relative to the furrow disks by a pressure wheel support arm tongue secured to a furrow disk support bracket.

  • Patent number: 4217962
Abstract: A soil ripping tooth assembly is pivotally mounted for vertical movement within a horizontally disposed downwardly and forwardly open box frame having a drawbar and drawn by a prime mover having a hydraulic fluid supply system. A scraping blade is connected in depending relation with the rearward wall of the box frame for collecting soil within the confines of the box frame. A pair of wheels, journalled by stub axles, connected with a weight support frame in turn pivotally connected to the rearward side of the box frame, supports the box frame and ripper tooth assembly in combination with the drawbar. A plurality of hydraulic cylinders, mounted on the box frame and respectively connected with the drawbar, ripper tooth assembly and weight supporting frame, selectively tilt the ripper tooth assembly and respective sides and ends of the box frame toward and away from the surface of the earth in a soil collecting and distributing action.
