    Abstract: A firearm recoil pad assembly includes a base plate, a pad plate, and a pad, and can be secured to the buttstock of a firearm. The base plate has a bore formed therethrough, and the pad plate has a bore formed therethrough. A bolt extends through the bores in the base plate and the pad plate and couples with a nut to secure the pad plate to the base plate. The pad is affixed to the pad plate and includes a rear face formed with compression channels extending across the rear face, and opposed left and right sides. The rear face of the pad is canted toward one of the left and right sides.
