Patent number: 11266274Abstract: A catering box with active climate control is configured to transport “delicate” foods, such as grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and hamburgers, without inducing substantial sogginess in the bread of those food items. The catering box includes a heat mass configured to retain heat generated by a hot plate and to then radiate that heat, during transport, after the hot plate has been disconnected from a power source. In addition, the catering box includes an exhaust fan that actively controls internal specific humidity levels in order to prevent moisture from settling within the bread of stored food items. A microcontroller within the catering box monitors temperature and absolute humidity levels, computes the current specific humidity level, and then selectively engages or disengages the exhaust fan in response. With his approach, the catering box may limit the degree to which humidity settles within the bread of delicate food items stored within.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2014Date of Patent: March 8, 2022Assignee: FISHSIX RCInventors: Michael Pavel, Jonathan Kaplan, Will Tammen, Michael J. Patent number: 10901460Abstract: The present disclosure describes a wearable computing device (WCD) in the form of a ring that can be worn on the finger of a human user.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2018Date of Patent: January 26, 2021Assignee: PROXY, INC.Inventors: Curt C. von Badinski, Michael J. Strasser, Peter Twiss

Patent number: 10884455Abstract: The disclosure discloses a wearable computing device (WCD) that would selectively and automatically activate a transceiver of the WCD for data transmission based on sensor data obtained from a sensor module of the \VCD. In some example, the sensor module may convert the physical movements of the WCD into sensor data. Then, a processor module of the WCD compares the sensor data to a predetermined pattern pre-stored in the memory. If the sensor data matches the predetermined pattern, the processor module activates the transceiver to receive/transmit data packets. If the sensor data does not match the predetermined pattern, the process goes back to the beginning, where the processor module monitors the movement of the WCD through the sensors.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2019Date of Patent: January 5, 2021Assignee: PROXY, INC.Inventors: Curt C. von Badinski, Peter Miles Twiss, Daniel Jeffrey Post, Anthony Ambuehl, Michael J. Patent number: 10398211Abstract: A cap for a reusable bottle and a compound-containing container is provided. The container is a separate, replaceable structure with a base (well/bowl) section containing the compound and a hinged or otherwise removable cap. The container is secured in a cavity in the top of the cap using appropriate detents that flex based upon the materials inherent resilient (e.g. a polymer material) to selectively engage with and disengage from the cap cavity. The cap can include a (unitary or integral) hook or ring that extends from the edges of the cap and can provide a stop that the lid of the secured container hinges against when placed in an open position. The hinge includes a detent adjacent to its front edge (opposite the side containing the hinge). This detent retains the lid in a closed position, but can be overcome by pressure applied by the user to open the lid.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2017Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Assignee: Tali Corp.Inventors: Tal Winter, Imraan Aziz, Thomas E.
