  • Publication number: 20220400687
Abstract: Methods for increasing cannabinoid production in growing cannabis plants, and for lowering the hydrophobicity of soil are described. Foliar application of compositions comprising cannabinoids extracted from Cannabis sativa hemp to the growing plants and/or drenching the soil surrounding the growing cannabis plants therewith have been demonstrated to produce significant changes in cannabinoid production, thereby generating an increase in the marketable portion of the crop. Additionally, application of these compositions to the soil reduces soil hydrophobicity.

  • Patent number: 10181402
Abstract: A method of treating a surface of a silicon substrate forms an accelerated gas cluster ion beam of carbon atoms, promotes fragmentation and/or dissociation of gas cluster ions in the beam, removes charged particles from the beam to form a neutral beam, and treats a portion of a surface of the silicon substrate by irradiating it with the neutral beam. A silicon substrate surface layer of SiCX (0.05<X<3) formed by accelerated and focused Neutral Beam irradiation of a silicon substrate wherein the Neutral Beam is derived from a gas cluster ion beam which has had its cluster ions dissociated and charged particles removed.

  • Publication number: 20170190498
Abstract: A tray for supporting food products that exude liquid. The tray (12) includes a bottom panel (20) and side walls defining a liquid collection space (34). A plurality of upwardly extending protrusions (42) are positioned in a pattern across and along the bottom panel. A liquid absorbent pad (18) is positioned in the liquid collection space and has seams (47) that match the pattern of the upwardly extending protrusions, so the protrusions of the tray support the seams of the absorbent pad over the bottom wall of the collection space.
