  • Patent number: 11937037
Abstract: A housing has a bud portion abutting an elongated stem portion. The bud portion is to fit within an ear. The bud portion has a primary sound outlet at its far end that is to be inserted into an outer ear canal, and abuts the stem portion at its near end. A speaker driver is inside the bud portion. Electronic circuitry inside the housing includes a wireless communications interface to receive audio content over-the-air and in response provides an audio signal to the speaker driver. A rechargeable battery as a power source for the electronic circuitry is located inside a cavity of the stem portion. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20230286761
Abstract: A system performs a method of manufacturing a vehicle. The system includes a camera, a transport device, and a processor. The camera obtains an image of a part that is to be assembled to the vehicle. The transport device orients the part with respect to a surface and drops the part onto the surface. The processor creates a first model representing the part and a second model representing the surface from the image, places the first model at a selected drop orientation and a selected drop height with respect to the second model, simulates a drop of the first model onto the second model, and determines a change in a dimension of the first model resulting from the simulated drop. The part is dropped onto the surface at the selected drop orientation and the selected drop height when the change in the dimension of the first model meets a criterion.

  • Patent number: 5603021
Abstract: An electronic spreadsheet system of the present invention includes a Formula Composer having a preferred interface and methods for assisting a user with composing spreadsheet formulas. The Composer provides the user with simultaneous formula outline and subexpression (text) views of a given formula. Using the formula outline view, the user may isolate a particular portion (subexpression) of a formula for editing. The Formula Composer also provides a Formula Expert, which is displayed by the system upon the user selecting a spreadsheet function in a formula being edited. In addition to providing specific information about the selected spreadsheet function, the Formula Expert provides input fields which are specific for the arguments of the selected function. Moreover, the Formula Expert includes mode expressions or "templates" for assisting users in inputting correct argument information. Using pattern matching technique, the system may employ the templates for eliminating common user input mistakes.
