The sign holder has a mounting bracket engaging member and a sign holding member that engages and holds a sign. An adhesive fastens the mounting bracket engaging member to the mounting bracket. The adhesive is an upstream adhesive such that the user receives the mounting bracket already bonded to the sign holder.

Abstract: A holder for electronic shelf labels includes a channel having upper and lower ledges with upper and lower gripping flanges defining an engagement space into which a back of the electronic shelf label is mounted. A fin extends from a backplane of the channel, the fin having one side perpendicular to the backplane. The front of the upper and lower gripping flanges have inwardly-directed bevels. A breakaway guide is connected by a thinned portion to the backplane to engaging an edge of a mounting structure. The breakaway guide is removable following mounting of the channel.

End caps are mounted on the ends of the panel body. Each end cap includes two arms extending into a channel in the panel body. The arms include grasping portions that receive a square stem of a suction cup. The suction cup extends out of the channel at a slot that is open at the back of the panel body. The cup portion of the suction cups is enclosed behind the panel body when attached to the surface. A release tab of each suction cup extends from the panel body at cut out portions of the end caps. The arm lengths maintain the release tabs at a position extending from the end caps and prevent rotation of the suction cups.

Spaced from the grip portion is a brace on the end of which is a web connected to a C-channel. The C-channel receives a display or sign such as a dowel in a sleeve of the display which allows the user to maximize sign size, head space or lines of sight. The C-channel also can be used to receive a block end hook, a cord suspender, or a clip. A ring may be provided through a hole in the web. The display holder is mounted or un-mounted safely from floor level in one single motion to a ceiling by magnets on the top surface or to a wall by magnets on the brace.

An embodiment of the channel includes hooks for engaging an open girder ceiling, horizontal member, or other structure.

The frame may be mounted in the frame gripper in different orientations.
