  • Publication number: 20180158150
Abstract: A method, system, and server for estimating a cost of electricity provided to an electric vehicle. At a server, obtaining a host geographical location and at least one charging time indicator associated with charging an electric vehicle at an electric vehicle charger. At the server, computing a price of electricity based on the host geographical location. At the server, absent a measurement of electricity provided to the electric vehicle, computing an estimated cost of the electricity provided to the electric vehicle based on one or more physical characteristics of a battery of the electric vehicle, the price of electricity and the at least one charging time indicator.
