  • Patent number: 11371363
Abstract: A tip shroud may include a pair of opposed, axially extending wings configured to couple to an airfoil at a radially outer end thereof. The tip shroud also includes a tip rail extending radially from the pair of opposed, axially extending wings. Tip shroud surface profiles may be of the downstream and/or upstream side of the tip rail, a leading and/or trailing Z-notch of the tip shroud, and/or upstream and/or downstream radially outer surfaces of a wing. The surface profiles may have a nominal profile in accordance with at least part of Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y, Z and perhaps thickness, set forth in a respective table.

  • Patent number: 9695854
Abstract: An adjustable and lockable turnbuckle may include an elongated body having internal threading within a first end thereof. The turnbuckle may include a first extension rod having external threading configured to mate with the internal threading at the first end of the elongated body. The turnbuckle may include a first jam nut having internal threading and a skirt. The internal threading of the first jam nut may be configured to mate with the external threading of the first extension rod to tighten the first jam nut against the first end of the elongated body so that the skirt of the first jam nut is positionable about the first end of the elongated body. A first aperture may extend through the elongated body, the first extension rod, and the skirt of the first jam nut. Moreover, a first pin may be positioned within the first aperture.

  • Publication number: 20160131146
Abstract: A pressure sensor system for a compressor including an inlet bellmouth is disclosed. The system includes a first static pressure sensor positioned within a plane of a plenum that is upstream of the inlet bellmouth; and a second static pressure sensor positioned at an entrance plane of the compressor. A mass flow rate calculator may calculate a mass flow rate based on a pressure differential between the plane of the plenum and the entrance plane of the compressor.
