  • Publication number: 20060196528
Abstract: A sink having a front wall, a rear wall, an opposed pair of sidewalls, and vertically-extending corner sections connecting the front and rear walls to the sidewalls. A pump circulates cleaning fluid withdrawn from the sink to at least one nozzle located in each corner section of the sink to create a whirlpool circulation pattern within the sink. The corner sections are formed as chamfers, or are rounded, and each nozzle is directed to emit a flow of cleaning fluid substantially parallel to and closely along an adjacent one of the front, rear and sidewalls of the sink. Preferably, the flows of cleaning fluid are directed within two to three inches of the adjacent one of the front, rear and sidewalls of the sink. A method of washing pots and pans is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5412709
Abstract: A digital station line controller is connected via a digital link, such as a T1 span, to the line side of a central office and via digital station line loops to digital terminal devices, such as telephones. The station line controller interprets certain signals used by a conventional protocol, such as TR8, between a central office and a remote terminal, as status requests. In response to the status requests, the station line controller provides status information obtained by monitoring the terminal devices connected thereto and the station line controller itself. The status information may be obtained by generating codes which perform tests of the terminal devices and the station line controller. In addition, non-voice information transmitted over a subscriber channel in the on-hook, no-ring state of the subscriber channel is decoded and used or output by the station line controller to a corresponding terminal device or auxiliary equipment.

  • Patent number: 5027341
Abstract: A station controller for use in a telephone system includes a plurality of digital telephone stations comprising one or more multi-station pick up groups, each having a primary station and one or more associated secondary stations for picking up calls to the primary station. The secondary stations generate a pick up signal to initiate pick up of a call to the primary station and have indicating lights or the like. A centrex exchange is connected to a station controller through a digital carrier link and the station controller is connected to the telephone stations by digital links. The station controller includes a monitor for monitoring the status of each primary station and generating a status signal, and controls the status of the indicators of the secondary stations responsive to the status signals.

  • Patent number: 4829564
Abstract: A main distribution frame (MDF) board for connecting a plurality of stations to a system or switch, or an intermediate distribution frame (IDF) board for connecting an input cable to an output cable, comprises: sets of barrel connectors to which the stations are wired (in the MDF embodiment) or an input connector for connecting the input cable to the board (in the case of the IDF embodiment); an output connector for connecting the output cable to the board; and a plurality of jacks for interconnecting the barrel connectors or input connector to the output connector. The jacks utilized in this arrangement, and their corresponding plugs, are designed such that, when a plug is not inserted into a jack, odd numbered pins are connected to even numbered pins within the jack. Conversely, when the plug is inserted into the jack, the aforementioned connection is broken.

  • Patent number: 4322064
Abstract: A plurality of serially-disposed and pivotally-connected elements comprise the object-spacing tool of the present invention. The tool can be compactly folded to a size approximately the length of one element or expanded to a length approximately the total length of all the elements. Each element has two members projecting therefrom; typically, each projecting member is at or near an end of the element. Each projecting member is constructed to cooperate with a projecting member from an adjacent element for clamping an object therebetween. These cooperating pairs of projecting elements are spaced a fixed distance from each other, thereby spacing the objects clamped therebetween a predetermined distance from each other.
