  • Publication number: 20220305399
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for recovering at least one product from a fermentation broth. The invention relates to the use of a vacuum distillation vessel to recover products, such as ethanol, from a fermentation broth, where the fermentation broth comprises viable microbial biomass, and where the recovery of the product is completed in such a manner to ensure the viability of the microbial biomass. The invention provides for product recovery at an effective rate so as to prevent the accumulation of product in the fermentation broth. To ensure the viability of the microbial biomass, the invention is designed to reduce the amount of stress on the microbial biomass. By ensuring the viability of the microbial biomass, the microbial biomass may be recycled and reused in the fermentation process, which may result in an increased efficiency of the fermentation process.

  • Patent number: 11429515
Abstract: Techniques, supported by corresponding apparatuses and methods, are disclosed for monitoring execution of software in a trusted environment and generating path signatures which are characteristic of the behaviour of the software. Multiple approximate nearest neighbour searching hash tables are generated in dependence on such path signatures and on attribute information defining behavioural classifications for the path signatures. Later execution of the software in a non-trusted environment is monitoring and an observed path signature characteristic of the behaviour of the software is generated. This observed path signature is queried against the multiple approximate nearest neighbour searching hash tables and a behavioural classification is determined in dependence on hash collision-based similarity between the observed path signature and the content of the multiple approximate nearest neighbour searching hash tables.

  • Publication number: 20220264274
Abstract: A system and method for generating and transmitting emergency messages and for maintaining real-time emergency communications sessions between users and emergency dispatch centers. A system receives data transmitted from a user device and constructs an emergency message related to a specific type of emergency scenario as well as the location, meta-data and background information of the user. The generated emergency message is transmitted via a communications network and delivered to an appropriate emergency dispatch center. The method enables the user to deliver a detailed request for help regardless of his or her location or, in another instance, delivers the basic emergency response related information for the user. The generated emergency message is universally compatible with emergency communications center infrastructure so long as the communications centers possess basic voice call equipment.

  • Publication number: 20220126454
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for positioning a wafer in relation to a datum structure. In one example, a system comprises a camera arrangement including at least two cameras, each of the at least two cameras including a field of view when positioned in the camera arrangement, each field of view including a peripheral edge of the wafer and a peripheral edge of the datum structure. A processor receives positional data from each of the at least two cameras and determines, in relation to each field of view, a gap size between the respective peripheral edges of the wafer and the datum location included in the respective field of view. A controller adjusts a position of the wafer relative to the datum structure based on the determined respective gap sizes.
