It is the only way that a shirt can be minimally altered with maximum containment of sunglasses or eyeglasses regardless of any motion even horizontal. A simple button hole sewn sideways with a small cloth strip approximately 3 inches below it will firmly hold glasses better than putting them in a chest pocket.
