  • Publication number: 20200115609
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to enzyme formulations and methods of using the enzyme formulations to reduce the viscosity of fluids used in hydrocarbon recovery. Some embodiments provide particles for well treatment, where the particles comprise an acidifier carrier and an enzyme co-encapsulated within a shell. The particles can, for example, allow a delayed or controlled release of the enzyme in a high temperature, high pressure environment.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 23, 2019
    Publication date: April 16, 2020
Inventors: Cristina POP, Adrienne HUSTON DAVENPORT, Yun HAN, Michael John PRATT, Kelvin Ning WONG, Bin ZHANG, Dongmei REN

  • Patent number: 6384264
Abstract: Organic photoprecursors of amines are provided for use in photosensitive imaging systems, finding particular application in the preparation of lithographic printing plates. Said photoprecursors generate free amines on exposure to long wavelength UV or visible radiation, have high solubility in organic solvents, and include photolabile 2-nitrobenzyl functional groups. Methods for the synthesis of the photoprecursors are described, and the use of the said photoprecursors for the production of printing plates using both positive working and negative working techniques are discussed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 18, 2000
Date of Patent: May 7, 2002
    Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert
Inventors: Maria de Lurdes dos Santos Cristiano, John Kynaston Davies, Sharon Dowd, Robert Alexander Walker Johnstone, Michael John Pratt, John Robert Wade

  • Patent number: 5710193
Abstract: Colorants, polymeric binder resins, photoinitiators, photosensitizers, color-change agents, anti-halation agents, stabilizers, and other active hydrogen-containing components of radiation sensitive compositions for lithographic printing plate production and the like are reacted with a polyethylenically unsaturated monoisocyanate compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein Y is the residue of a monohydroxyl compound of formula YOH and Y contains at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. In this way the components are bonded to the image on exposure.
