  • Publication number: 20220019620
Abstract: A control system for aggregating metadata at hydrocarbon site is shown. The control system includes one or more edge devices. At least one of the one or more edge devices includes a processing circuit configured to receive sensor data from a plurality of sensors and integrate the received sensor data into a set of metadata, the set of metadata including stored operational data of the hydrocarbon site. The processing circuit is configured to aggregate the set of metadata according to one or more criteria, the one or more criteria configured to categorize the received sensor data. The processing circuit is configured to identify one or more connected devices based on the aggregated set of metadata and the one or more criteria and adjust operation of the one or more edge devices based on the aggregated set of metadata.

  • Publication number: 20190007159
Abstract: An adaptive multiband access communication system and method for a network of downhole components located in a wellbore are disclosed. Low noise regions of a communication spectrum are identified and frequency channels within the low noise regions are assigned to the downhole components. Communications on the assigned channels are monitored for quality and adjustments are dynamically made to frequency channel assignments if the quality does not satisfy an acceptance criterion.

  • Patent number: 8561807
Abstract: A magnetic drum separator, for separating ferrous and non-ferrous materials from a material stream. The magnetic drum separator comprising an outer shell that is rotatable around a central axis by a drive mechanism. The outer shell having a tubular length parallel to the central axis and a circular cross-section perpendicular to the central axis. An electromagnet pickup magnet positioned at a fixed location within the circular cross-section has a cross-section perpendicular to the central axis. The pickup magnet has a first end closest to the inner circumference of the outer shell and a second end located near the central axis. The pickup magnet comprises a core, with a backbar abutting it at the second end. The core comprises a plurality of blocks of different widths, in a cross-section perpendicular to the central axis, with the narrowest block at the first end and the widest block abutting the backbar.

  • Patent number: 5820550
Abstract: An improved pulse oximeter apparatus and method for the measurement of oxygen saturation in the blood, which is faster and more accurate than conventional pulse oximeters. Improved speed and accuracy is attained by elimination of normalization and feedback circuitry and the use of analog to digital converting devices having a wide dynamic range along with a sophisticated computer analysis. The instant invention eliminates inaccuricies resulting from channel matching errors, and detects and eliminates aberrant input data.

  • Patent number: 5766124
Abstract: A magnetic stimulator of neuro-muscular tissue has a discharge capacitor, at least one discharge control switch for allowing discharge of the discharge capacitor into a stimulating coil and a circuit for recovering energy from the stimulating coil when current flow from the discharge capacitor to the stimulating coil is interrupted, the energy being recovered either by the discharge capacitor or a capacitor additional to the discharge capacitor. The additional capacitor may be a reservoir capacitor connected for charging by a power supply and there may be a circuit for pumping charge from the reservoir capacitor to a transfer capacitor and for pumping charge from the transfer capacitor to the discharge capacitor.
