Abstract: A time-temperature indicator device comprises a polymeric layer having a first and second surface and a dye composition adhered to said first surface comprising a dye which diffuses into the polymeric layer as a result of a cumulative time-temperature exposure wherein the polymeric layer is formed from a natural or synthetic rubber polymer or copolymer. The device may be attached to a product for monitoring cumulative time-temperature exposure.

Abstract: Photographic elements are disclosed in which exposure to at least one portion of the spectrum is recorded by a silver halide emulsion layer unit as an image having its optical density provided by silver. The layer unit is comprised of a plurality of radiation sensitive silver halide emulsion layers that are responsive to the same region of the spectrum, but differ in sensitivity, including a non-wandering silver halide reducing agent. A molar ratio of reducing agent to silver halide in one of the emulsion layers is less than that stoichiometrically required for complete silver halide reduction to silver. A higher molar ratio of reducing agent to silver halide is contained in a remaining of the two emulsion layers.

Abstract: Relief images can be formed in photographic elements having a tanning developing agent incorporated therein. The tanning developing agents have the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each an alkyl group of at least 3 carbon atoms, or an aryl group,After exposure, the material is treated with an alkaline solution and unhardened areas are removed.
