    Abstract: In one aspect, the embodiments generally relate to a mobile device that provides a Personal Information Manager (PIM) application with a tracking module for tracking information associated with a user interaction occurring on the mobile device; and a linking module for communicating with an external service that is unrelated to the PIM application. In operation, the tracking module may be configured to provide the information associated with the user interaction to the linking module, and the linking module may be configured to transmit the information to be processed by the external service. In another aspect, the embodiments generally relate to a method of allowing a mobile device to communicate with a source within a secure network. The method includes: receiving an initiation message from the source within the secure network; awaiting a transmission from the mobile device; receiving the information; and relaying the information by including the information in a reply to the initiation message.
