The housing and wheel may move together along a side of the panel, and the bias member may bias the housing and wheel against the direction of movement of the housing and wheel. The bias member may exert a reactive force against the panel.

The media tray is mountable to the frame for pivotal movement between a first position and a second position relative to the frame. The damper is disposed on the frame and configured for maintaining frictional engagement with the media tray.

Abstract: A tube routing configuration for a printing system with an off-axis ink supply system. The system includes a printer housing and a transporting system for transporting a print medium along a medium path to a print area. A scanning carriage holds a printing cartridge with a print-head, the carriage holding the cartridge such that the printhead faces the print zone. A carriage scanning apparatus moves the carriage along a scanning axis transverse to the medium path at the print area. An off-axis ink supply station is mounted in a fixed position relative to the printer housing. Hollow flexible tubing interconnects between the carriage and the off-axis ink supply station to provide an ink replenishment path for the printer cartridge.

Abstract: A guide mechanism prevents an improperly oriented PC card from being inserted a significant distance into a PC slot. A pair of PC card guide mechanisms are coupled to a PC male connector. A PC card is received at the guides as the card is inserted and pushed toward the male connector. Each guide mechanism includes a proximal end that engages an edge of the male connector, and a distal flanged end that receives the PC card. A guide rail extends between the proximal and distal ends of each guide mechanism. At least one guide mechanism includes a flexible arm along its guide rail. At the tip of the arm is a keying mechanism responsive to the PC card orientation. When the PC card is properly oriented, the card slides over the keying mechanism pushing it aside to traverse the guide rail. When the PC card is improperly oriented, the card is blocked by the keying mechanism so as not to traverse the guide rail.
