  • Publication number: 20240141180
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pigmented aqueous coating composition including at least one binder, at least one mono-, di- and/or triglyceride, and at least one silica compound. Further disclosed herein is a method for producing a multicoat paint system by producing a basecoat or two or more directly consecutive basecoats directly on a substrate optionally coated with a first coat, producing a clearcoat directly on the basecoat or on the topmost of the two or more basecoats, and then jointly curing the one or more basecoats and the clearcoat. At least one of the basecoat materials includes the aqueous coating composition disclosed herein. Additionally disclosed herein is a multicoat paint system obtainable by the disclosed method.

  • Publication number: 20200164558
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the generation of virtual three-dimensional patterns in mouldings, in particular to a reactive injection-moulding process for the production of mouldings having a virtual three-dimensional pattern which is formed by flake-form effect pigments, to the mouldings produced by means of this process, and to the use thereof, in particular for decorative purposes.

  • Patent number: 7232551
Abstract: A method for the treatment of catalysts or catalyst carriers by: a) introducing and distributing a gas in the lower section of a reactor containing a catalyst or catalyst carrier bulk material; b) forming a fluidized bed in the reactor; c) treating the particles in the fluidized bed while removing the fine particles an/or retaining the course particles by means of a separating organ and d) discharging the reactor. To this end, a reactor bottom which tapers downwards is used.

  • Patent number: 6683022
Abstract: Method for the discontinuous thermal treatment of catalyst material comprising the steps (a) introducing the catalyst material into a reactor, (b) heating the catalyst material, (c) thermally treating the catalyst material in the reactor at the reactor temperature, (d) discharging the catalyst material from the reactor and (e) cooling the catalyst material, wherein the reactor temperature is kept constant during the steps (a) to (e), step (b) is carried out during and/or after step (a), step (e) is carried out during and/or after step (d), and step (c) is carried out after step (b) and before step (e). The method is used primarily for the calcination or activation of catalysts or catalyst supports which are used in polyolefin production.
