Abstract: An intravenous catheter and anchoring set comprising a catheter assembly having an I.V. catheter having one end inserted into the limb of a patient and a flexible tube attached to the other end of the catheter, a flexible anchor base, the base having notches therein forming adjustable bands extendible around a limb, attachment means attaching the bands together and skin-anchor adhesive means on the inner side of the base and capable of holding the base to the skin while the bands are being adjustably secured in place.
