Abstract: A method of generating recommendations based on predicted activity external to a first region includes segmenting a plurality of users into at least a first subset of users and a second subset of users. The method also includes generating an activation metric for each user of the first and second subset of users. The method also includes determining a plurality of target users from the plurality of users. The method also includes automatically initiating a target action for each target user. A system and computer program product for generating recommendations based on predicted activity external to a first region is also disclosed.
