Abstract: A contact brokering system has a server connected to a network, the server coupled to at least one data repository and having a processor executing software (SW) from a non-transitory medium, the SW providing registration by a first user, comprising providing by the first user image and personal information, and contact information stored in the data repository and associated with the first user, generating a unique identifier for the first user, the unique identifier stored associated with the first user, adding the unique identifier to a physical object and providing that object to the first user to be deployed in a manner that a second user may access the unique identifier, and receiving at the server a communication from the second user invoking the unique identifier, and offering the second user one or more options for accessing information about the first user, or for contacting the first user.

Abstract: An apparatus capable of transporting a rider, specifically for an amusement ride. The apparatus is constructed in the form of a substantially hollow sphere which rides along the ground, which is preferably inclined, a track, or a predetermined path (being substantially flat but with guide rails or walls along its sides). An inner carriage, to which the rider's seat is attached, moves independently of the sphere and maintains a substantially constant attitude while the sphere rolls. The inner carriage can be formed in varying shapes such as a sphere, hemisphere, semicircle, tube or a circle.

Abstract: A wheel brake for shopping carts and other wheeled equipment is disclosed. Typically, shopping carts and other wheeled equipment have a yoke depending from a lower end of a leg support, the yoke including a pair of generally parallel downwardly extending arms. A wheel is rotatably mounted on an axle extending between these downwardly extending arms. In order to provide selective braking engagement of the wheel to immobilize the shopping cart or other wheeled equipment, a brake tongue is pivotally mounted at one end to the yoke above the wheel and extends across at least a part of the wheel. A foot pedal is pivotally mounted to the yoke in spaced relationship to the brake tongue for movement between engaged and released positions relative to the wheel. The foot pedal includes a depending brake element for engaging and depressing the brake tongue into selective braking engagement with the wheel when the foot pedal is moved into engaged position by a user.
