Abstract: A carrying case for large, fragile equipment, which comprises: a carrying case body having sidewalls, at least one of the sidewalls comprising a first door which is completely separable from the case body, and which may be latched to the carrying case body. The case body has opposed, interior walls adjacent to the latched door, and at least one groove is formed in each of the opposed interior walls, to removably receive and hold a separated first door at least partially within the carrying case body.
