  • Publication number: 20240133483
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide for pressure relief valve detection and monitoring. A valve assembly includes a valve body, having an inlet and an outlet, and a valve seat insert attached to the valve body between the inlet and the outlet. The valve body also includes an indicator assembly, a disk positioned within the valve seat insert; and a stem extending between the disk and the indicator assembly. The stem includes a magnet. A magnetic sensor is operable to identify proximity of the magnet. The valve seat insert is operable to release the disk when pressure at the inlet exceeds a threshold value. The disk, when released, moves the stem and magnet into a position that is detected by the magnetic sensor, and the indicator assembly indicates a valve opening event when the position is detected.

  • Patent number: 11916465
Abstract: A compensating element having a first and a second assembly, wherein a locking mechanism is provided which can be switched over between a first and a second operating state. In the first operating state, the first assembly is connected fixedly to the second assembly and, in the second operating state, the first and second assemblies are connected to each other via a spring mechanism in such a manner that they are movable relative to each other. The locking mechanism includes an electric motor that can be used to switch over between the first and the second operating state. A locking ring is or is not braced against at least three balls depending on its rotational position with respect to a center axis. The locking ring is connected in terms of rotary drive to the electric motor via a torsion spring which is elastic with respect to the center axis.

  • Publication number: 20240005652
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that determine a particular object instance in CGR environments. In some implementations, an object type of an object depicted in an image of a physical environment is identified. Then, a particular instance is determined based on the object type and the image. In some implementations, objects of the particular instance have a set of characteristics that differs from sets of characteristics associated with other instances of the object type. Then, the set of characteristics of the particular instance of the object depicted in the physical environment is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20240005611
Abstract: According to various implementations, a method is performed at a first electronic device with a non-transitory memory and one or more processors. The method includes determining a reference location in a three-dimensional space based on a feature. The feature is generated by a second electronic device. The method includes obtaining, for the reference location, first reference coordinates in an augmented reality coordinate system of the first electronic device and second reference coordinates in an augmented reality coordinate system of the second electronic device. The method includes determining a coordinate transformation based on a function of the first reference coordinates and the second reference coordinates. The method includes synchronizing an augmented reality coordinate system of the first electronic device with an augmented reality coordinate system of the second electronic device using the coordinate transformation.

  • Publication number: 20230376261
Abstract: In an exemplary process for accessing a function of an external device through a computer-generated reality interface, one or more external devices are detected. Image data of a physical environment captured by an image sensor is obtained. The process determines whether the image data includes a representation of a first external device of the one or more detected external devices. In accordance with determining that the image data includes a representation of the first external device, the process causes a display to concurrently display a representation of the physical environment according to the image data, and an affordance corresponding to a function of the first external device, wherein detecting user activation of the displayed affordance causes the first external device to perform an action corresponding to the function.

  • Patent number: 11762619
Abstract: In some exemplary processes for controlling an external device using a computer-generated reality interface, information specifying a function of the external device is received from the external device. First image data of a physical environment that includes the external device is obtained with one or more image sensors. A representation of the physical environment according to the first image data is displayed on a display. While displaying the representation of the physical environment, second image data identifying a gesture occurring between the display and the external device in the physical environment is obtained with the one or more image sensors. A determination is made as to whether the identified gesture satisfies one or more predetermined criteria associated with the function. In accordance with determining that the identified gesture satisfies one or more predetermined criteria associated with the function, the external device is caused to perform the function.
