  • Patent number: 11961598
Abstract: A method for predicting errors in prescription claim data is performed by a claim analysis device. The method includes extracting historical claim features from successfully processed historical claims received from the data warehouse system. The method includes extracting pending claim features from a pending claim. The method includes applying a binarization process on the extracted historical claim features to obtain a binarized training feature set. The method includes applying the binarization process on the extracted pending claim features to obtain a binarized pending feature set. The method includes calculating an aggregate distance between the binarized pending feature set and the binarized training feature set. The method includes identifying the historical claim associated with the least aggregate distance as a predictive historical claim.

  • Publication number: 20240116207
Abstract: A sealant spreader device fills voids around a drilled hole with sealant in glued-in-rod (GIR) structures. A liquid sealant may be applied to the base of a drilled hole. A sealant spreader device is then inserted to the base of the drilled hole, through the sealant. The sealant spreader device is then withdrawn while rotating. The sealant spreader device includes winged sections having contours which force the sealant radially outward toward walls of the hole, into any voids around the circumference of the drilled hole, and leaves a thin layer of sealant around the circumference of the drilled hole.

  • Publication number: 20230224018
Abstract: A portable communication system for use in hostile and unknown environments. The system has a base station for control by an operator. The base station dispatches one or more unmanned drones into the hostile environment, where a forward agent, such a robot or investigative person can approach a suspected threat. Each drone has a payload of repeaters to be delivered as necessary to maintain line of sight communication from the forward agent back to the base station. Once delivered, the repeaters are mobile and can autonomously reposition to maintain or optimize line of sight communication. Communications from the forward agent back to the base station are then interpreted and analyzed for further action.

  • Patent number: 11547962
Abstract: A processing system for a slurry material. The system has a vibratory screen disposed atop an open-topped tank. A travel path for a vehicle is disposed directly above the screen and the tank. Slurry material dumped from the vehicle onto the screen is separated at the screen into a particulate-rich stream and a fluid-rich stream. The fluid-rich stream may be pumped to a cleaner so that it may be stored and re-used as drilling fluid. The screen may be a conveyor which removes the particulate-rich stream from above the tank.

  • Patent number: 10809045
Abstract: The forward firing fragmentation (FFF) munition includes a body, a flight system carried by the body and configured to maneuver the munition in flight, and a warhead carried by the body and including an explosive configured to detonate and expel fragments in a pattern. A near field barrier (near field barrier), such as the guidance system, is carried by the body in front of the warhead and communicatively coupled via a communication link to the flight system. A fragmentation adjustment system is configured to physically displace the near field barrier relative to the warhead while maintaining the communication link between the near field barrier and the flight system until detonation of the explosive.

  • Patent number: 9911059
Abstract: A process for recovering a vehicle includes obtaining a red green blue (RGB) image comprising a target on a recovery device. An input received from a user designates a target hue value and a target luminance value. The RGB image is converted to a hue value saturation (HSV) color model. The HSV color model is split into a hue value plane and a luminance value plane. A hue band pass filter and a luminance band pass filter are configured with appropriate thresholds. The configured hue band pass filter and the luminance band pass filter are applied to the hue value plane and the luminance value plane, respectively. The filtered hue value plane and the filtered luminance value planes are combined to yield a plurality of potential target pixel groupings. The most probable target is determined from the plurality of potential target pixels. The vehicle is directed to the target.

  • Patent number: 9617067
Abstract: A method and means for disaggregating aggregated particulate. A housing contains a rotational motor and a vibrating motor also has an auger drivingly linked to the rotational motor. Legs extend from the housing in the same direction as the auger and the device rests upon the aggregated particulate. Upon driving the rotational motor, the auger bores through the aggregated particulate, thereby disaggregating particulate. The vibrating motor is also driven to vibrate and further disaggregate the particulate. A plate device with a vibrating motor attached is also used to disaggregate the particulate, such as by teeth extending from the bottom of the plate that are driven into the aggregate by the weight of the plate when vibrated.

  • Publication number: 20140165909
Abstract: A gasket is used in a manufacturing apparatus, which deposits a material on a carrier body. A reaction chamber is defined by a housing and a base plate of the manufacturing apparatus. The gasket is disposed between the housing and the base plate for preventing a deposition composition, which comprises the material to be deposited or a precursor thereof, from escaping the reaction chamber. The gasket comprised a flexible graphite material for preventing the gasket from contaminating the material within said reaction chamber.
