  • Patent number: 12080421
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aggregating and sharing wellness data. The wellness data can be received by a user device from any number of sensors external or internal to the user device, from a user manually entering the wellness data, or from other users or entities. The user device can securely store the wellness data on the user device and transmit the wellness data to be stored on a remote database. A user of the device can share some or all of the wellness data with friends, relatives, caregivers, healthcare providers, or the like. The user device can further display a user's wellness data in an aggregated view of different types of wellness data. Wellness data of other users can also be viewed if authorizations from those users have been received.

  • Publication number: 20240264669
Abstract: A brain-computer interface system includes a video processor for producing a display signal, a temporal controller for producing a plurality of repetitive visual stimulus (RVS) signals with different respective temporal aspects, a display device that receives the display signal and displays a corresponding image on a plurality of different display regions and receives the RVS signals and displays corresponding RVS in respective ones of the display regions, an electroencephalographic (EEG) sensor for sensing a visually-evoked cortical potential (VECP) signal in a user with eyes fixated on a viewed one of the display regions, and a VECP processor for processing the VECP signal to identify the respective temporal aspect of the respective RVS of the viewed display region to estimate the eye fixation location. The RVS are generated independently of the display update/refresh rate and at sufficiently high frequencies to avoid flicker perceptible to the user.

  • Patent number: 5725717
Abstract: A method and apparatus for simultaneously placing two spaced rows of labels upon packaging film is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first labeling station at a first roller, a second labeling station at a second roller, belts for transporting two rows of labels across the film for placement at the first and second labeling stations, and a third roller movably positioned with respect to the first and second rollers. The film travels over the first roller, downwardly around the third roller, and then back up over the second roller. The adjacent rows of labels on a single backing are delivered by the belts to the film, where the labels are placed in rows spaced a distance apart greater than their spacing on the backing. Changing the position of the third roller allows a user to vary the spacing between the two rows of labels which are placed on the film at the first and second labeling stations during each film stop.

  • Patent number: 5682727
Abstract: A combined cutting blade and heat bar for use with a vacuum packaging device having a lid for sealing over the cavity of a base is disclosed. The cutting blade and heat bar are connected to one another and movable via a single actuating mechanism mounted to the lid. In use, in one step the combined mechanism is lowered with the heat bar unheated and the cutting element cuts slits in the bag for evacuation of the air. After air evacuation, the combined mechanism is lowered with the heat bar heated, melting the bag closed behind the slitted area of the bag.
