  • Publication number: 20220044064
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques to aggregate sensor data. The techniques perform operations comprising: receiving, from a first sensor, a first profile representing a first set of movement attributes detected by the first sensor in an area at a given point in time; receiving, from a second sensor, a second profile representing a second set of movement attributes detected by the second sensor in the area at the given point in time; computing a similarity measure between the first and second sets of movement attributes of the first and second profiles; determining that the similarity measure exceeds a threshold value; and in response to determining that the similarity measure exceeds the threshold value, associating the first and second profiles with a same first object that is in the area at the given point in time.

  • Publication number: 20190013091
Abstract: User interfaces are needed to alert and inform a person suffering from diabetes or a healthcare provider of possible harmful changes in the patient's blood glucose level. An improved method is presented for issuing an alert regarding a glucose condition of a patient by a diabetes management system. For a given patient, their glucose condition is quantified and presented as a state on a display. Glucose conditions can also be prioritized for a plurality of patients and presented to a healthcare provider.

  • Patent number: 9830673
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing accounts in a diabetes management system. The method includes receiving, by an account manager, a request to deactivate a first account associated with a healthcare provider. The first account may be associated with a plurality of patient accounts. The account manager may be implemented as computer executable instructions executing on a computer processor of a server device. The method includes removing, by the account manager, access to data associated with the first account. Each of the patient accounts associated with the first account are identified and may be deactivated by the account manager. An electronic notification may be sent to a person associated with each of the identified patient accounts, advising the person that the corresponding patient account has been deactivated. An audit record may be created in a data store, the audit record indicating the deactivation of the first account.

  • Patent number: 9546488
Abstract: A multifunction masonry tool includes a handle adapted to be held firmly in the grip of one hand. The handle is a polygonal solid, with for example four sides arrayed in generally rectangular or square cross-sectional arrangement. A narrow neck is disposed adjacent to a first end of the handle to enhance the grip of the thumb and forefinger. A loop extends from one end of the handle and a pick extends from the opposed end, both formed of a hardened, form-retaining rod material. The pick and loop may be formed from a single piece of the rod material that extends axially through the handle.

  • Publication number: 20140324463
Abstract: A method includes: receiving, at a computing device, diabetes management data from a diabetes management device, wherein the diabetes management data does not include a blood glucose (bG) measurement; using the computing device, transmitting an indicator of an account and the diabetes management data to a diabetes management server. The method further includes, using the diabetes management server: creating a bG measurement entry for the account in a database, leaving empty a field of the bG measurement entry for a bG measurement in the bG measurement entry based on the diabetes management data not including a bG measurement; and storing the diabetes management data in one or more respective fields of the bG measurement entry. The method further includes, using the diabetes management server, generating a user interface for displaying data stored in the bG measurement entry and at least one other bG measurement entry associated with the account.

  • Publication number: 20140324445
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for sharing information and managing diabetes diagnosis and treatment. The method comprises providing a web portal account accessible by both a patient and health care provider. The account may be associated with a portable medical device. The method includes receiving, at one or more servers, medical and usage data from the portable medical device. The medical data may be associated with the patient and the usage data may be associated with usage of the medical device by the patient. Statistics related to the medical or usage data are accumulated at one or more servers over a period of time, and may be accessible in the web portal account. The method includes evaluating the statistics in relation to a treatment criteria, and sending a treatment recommendation to the patient or the health care provider when at least one of the statistics meets or exceeds a predetermined treatment criteria.

  • Publication number: 20140324461
Abstract: A method for displaying contextual information by a diabetes reporter of a diabetes management system is provided. The method may include: displaying a graphical representation of a plurality of data values over a period of time in a first area of an interface display; receiving a selection of a desired data value from among the plurality of data values displayed in the first area; displaying, in response to the selection, a first set of data entries and a second set of data entries in a second area of the interface display concurrently with the graphical representation of the plurality of data values in the first area of an interface display. The first set of data entries and the second set of data entries are displayed in chronological order within a preset time period.
