Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for facilitating determination of morphology (e.g., shape) and structure (e.g., size, rigidity) and/or penetrating channels (e.g., microchannels) of occlusions (e.g., clots, fluid obstructions, tumors, chronic total occlusions) involving magnetic particles (e.g., nanoparticles, microparticles) controlled by an external magnetic control system.

Abstract: A method and system for authenticating access to a protected application are disclosed. For example, the method receives from a protected application a request by a user to gain access to the protected application. In one embodiment, the request contains an identification of the user and an identification of at least one media device of the user. The method then verifies the identification of the user and the identification of at least one media device of the user, e.g., via a database operated by a proxy server. The method then generates an access code if the identification of the user and the identification of at least one media device are verified. Finally, the method sends the access code to both the user and to the protected application.

Abstract: An electrophotographic copying apparatus includes a multi-function document feeder for feeding original document sheets to a platen viewing station for copying. The document feeder selectively provides (1) semiautomatic document feeding (SADF), (2) automatic document feeding (ADF), (3) recirculating automatic document feeding (RADF), and (4) manual placement of a document on the platen. A multi-function output copy module is provided for holding copies produced by the copying apparatus. The output module proivdes (1) a collator section comprising a vertical stack of collator bins, the unobstructed top bin of which also comprises (2) an exit tray, and (3) a large capacity exit bin that is located under the bottom one of the collator bins.

Abstract: A ribbon cartridge having a supply spool (3) and a take-up spool hub (27) to receive ribbon (1). Ribbon guide arms (9) are pivoted on pins (62) on the wall (17) of the cartridge. Downward bias is provided by a single spring (11) in a housing (13). A central section (60 ) is biased by the spring (11). The central section (60) may be grasped to move the guide arms 9 upward.
