  • Publication number: 20160370408
Abstract: An ungrounded power line sensor system includes a housing configured for coupling about a power line, at least a first voltage sensing plate supported by the housing and exposed to rain and snow, and at least a second voltage sensing plate supported by the housing and shielded from rain and snow. Voltages sensed by the first and second voltage sensing plate are separately measured in order to mitigate variations in the two measurements due to a weather event, for example by applying a weighted average calculation to the measurements to cancel out the effects of rain on the first voltage sensing plate.

  • Patent number: 5494347
Abstract: A rotary cabinet with a self-latching and positioning rotor is provided with an improved latch mechanism. The latch is operated by a sliding hand actuator connected by links and levers to a latch member. To operate, the actuator is lifted to release the rotor. An air cylinder retards the return of the actuator and latch member to the latched position. While the rotor is released, the rotor is rotated to a desired position. The latch returns to the latched position and restrains the rotor. Materials can be stored in or retrieved from shelves on the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5330062
Abstract: A programmable, visible display system or "light tree" for indicating loading and picking information to an operator of a storage conveyor of the horizontal carousel type is disclosed. The system includes a vertically extending array of regularly spaced lightable elements that is located adjacent the position occupied by a selected shelf of trays or bins for containing items to be stored or distributed. The display is programmed to match the vertical spacing of the shelves in each carrier of the storage conveyor so as to display information regarding the number of items to be removed from or placed in the bins when adjacent to the array, such information being horizontally aligned with the associated bin.
