  • Patent number: 10605802
Abstract: A saturation indication system includes a sorbent body with a film backing being irreversibly bonded to the sorbent body. A universal indicating ink formulation is at least partially coated onto the film backing such that the ink formulation is disposed between the film backing and the sorbent body. The universal indicating ink formulation includes a resin and a dye dispersed in the resin. The dye is configured to indicate a state of saturation of the sorbent body, with the resin and the dye being soluble in a plurality of categories of sorbates consisting of hydrophobic sorbates, hydrophilic sorbates, neutral sorbates, and amphiphilic sorbates.

  • Publication number: 20180350271
Abstract: A label comprising multiple layers. In one aspect, the label includes an ablation layer and a print layer configured to be below the ablation layer. The ablation layer may have a first color and can comprise at least one infrared (IR) absorbing material and at least one visible light reflecting material. The print layer may have a second color and can comprise at least one IR reflecting and visible light absorbing material. The second color is darker than the first color. The unique chemical composition of the label allows for an ablative substrate with a white top layer and a black bottom layer that results in a strong contrast. In some forms, an adhesive layer in a label might serve as both the print layer and an adhesive layer. In some forms the label can be cut to size with the same laser that engraves print and graphics.

  • Patent number: 7193459
Abstract: A power amplifier configuration including power amplifier circuitry and power control circuitry and having improved Power Added Efficiency (PAE) is provided. The power amplifier circuitry includes one or more input amplifier stages in series with a final amplifier stage. The power control circuitry provides a variable supply voltage to the input amplifier stages based on an adjustable power control signal. The final amplifier stage is powered by a fixed supply voltage. In operation, as output power of the power amplifier is reduced from its highest power level, the variable supply voltage is reduced. Accordingly, RF power of an amplified signal provided to the final amplifier stage from the input amplifier stages decreases, and the final amplifier stage transitions from saturation to linear operation, thereby increasing the gain of the final amplifier stage. Thus, a desired output level can be maintained while operating at lower current levels.

  • Patent number: 5577945
Abstract: A portable toy-assembly set that in a disassembled state is of a sufficiently miniature size as to be transportable by a child and assembled by a child, as water tank-like vessel having a sufficiently large upper water addition opening as to enable a child to add water thereto, drainable therefrom by a lower positioned drainage port connectable by disassembled joinable transparent conduits, with water-head pressure providable by disassemble support structure joinable with the tank-like vessel to support the tank-like vessel at selectable elevation. The conduits are connectable to a water-drivable accessory. A handle is mounted on the tank-like vessel or a vessel lid secureable to the tank-like vessel, enabling a child to more easily transport the portable toy-assembly set.
