The method may include auditing, at a processor, an election by at least determining whether a received first vote tally, a received second vote tally, a received third vote tally, and a received fourth vote tally correspond to the same amount; generating, at the processor, a first indication, when the received first vote tally, the received second vote tally, the received third vote tally, and the received fourth vote tally correspond to the same amount; and generating, at the processor, a second indication representative of a discrepancy, when the received first vote tally, the received second vote tally, the received third vote tally, and the received fourth vote tally does not correspond to the same amount.
