  • Patent number: 11964692
Abstract: A vehicle hitching assistance system includes a controller executing an initial alignment process including searching for a trailer within a specified area of image data that is less than a total field of the image data in directions corresponding with both a longitudinal distance between the vehicle and the trailer and a lateral direction perpendicular to the longitudinal distance, presenting an indication to a driver of the vehicle to reposition the vehicle when the trailer is not identified within the specified area, and removing the indication when the trailer is identified within the specified area. The controller further executes an automated backing process upon identifying the trailer within the specified area, including identifying a coupler of the trailer and outputting a steering signal to the vehicle to cause the vehicle to steer to align a hitch ball of the vehicle with the coupler of the trailer during reversing.

  • Patent number: 5287007
Abstract: A device for coupling additional equipment to a machine having a control system with inputs and outputs for controlling the machine. The device includes connecting lines connecting the control system and the additional equipment, with the connecting lines coming together at a central connection site. The device can be located at the central connection site for metallically isolating all of the inputs and outputs of the control system from all of the inputs and outputs of the additional equipment.

  • Patent number: 5065613
Abstract: A method for the direct presentation of a differential measured quantity, in particular, a differential gas concentration measurement, in terms of its correct physical unit is disclosed. A characteristic curve representing the output of a gas sensor detector as a function of gas concentration is obtained in an absolute coordinate system. A reference level at which the differential measurement is to occur is defined on this characteristic curve by a defined input or, respectively, output value. This reference level defines the origin of a differential coordinate system from which the differential measurement may be directly ascertained.

  • Patent number: 4951567
Abstract: Safety system for a printing machine having at least one machine drive, a brake device and an electronic control system therefor. The electronic control system has power control stages which permit electronic braking of the drive assembly, and a monitoring circuit, to which can be fed nominal and actual values of the speed of the drive assembly, and which actuate the brake device in the case of impermissibly high deviation between a nominal value and an actual value. Accelerations and decelerations necessary in the operation of the printing machine are achieved by suitable control of the respective machine drive.
