Publication number: 20260243149Abstract: Methods and systems for disposing of fluids, such as brine or produced water or CO2, in a disposal well that requires the injection well to be seismically monitored is described. Injection continues until a seismic event of threshold value caused by the injection is detected. The first injection point is then closed until the first event dissipates (e.g., pressure is reduced). Meanwhile, fluid is injected into an open injection point, again until a second seismic event is detected. Then the second injection point is closed and a third injection point (or the first if sufficiently dissipated) is opened and used for injection, and so on. In this way, the seismic risk is greatly reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2025Publication date: August 20, 2026Applicant: CONOCOPHILLIPS COMPANYInventors: Jason BURKE, Michael LEONARD, Riki TASRIANTO, Austin BEAM

Publication number: 20260187028Abstract: A technique is disclosed for operand propagation and accumulation within a processing array of an integrated circuit using overlapping patch regions. The system includes an interconnecting processing patch defined over a rectilinear subset of processing elements, with an origin processing element broadcasting operand data to the remaining elements in a directionally constrained, time-staggered wavefront pattern. A logical processing patch is separately defined over a second rectilinear subset of processing elements. The interconnecting processing patch and the logical processing patch partially overlap to form an interconnecting patch mesh comprising a common set of processing elements. Operand data is propagated from the origin of the interconnecting patch to the common processing elements within the patch mesh, enabling operand handoff or accumulation across patch boundaries.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2026Publication date: July 2, 2026Applicant: quadric.io Inc.Inventors: Thomas Ng, Michael Leonard, Aman Sikka, Mark Morra, Nigel Drego

Publication number: 20260176956Abstract: A method of monitoring deposits on a well by cleaning a well of existing deposits sufficiently to allow a plunger from an instrumented plunger lift to travel therethrough; monitoring any further addition of deposits using the same instrumented plunger lift that records a velocity and a position of the plunger (or any other parameters that allows one to estimate speed and depth) as it travels through the well; and using the recorded velocity and position to determine a size and a position of each added deposit by a decrease in the velocity at a given position as compared to a baseline velocity. Ideally, once added deposits begin to impinge on production rates, the operator then treats said well to remove each said added deposit. The technology may thus be used to identify potential deposits, but also use to validate the efficacy of chemical treatments used in said well.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2025Publication date: June 25, 2026Applicant: CONOCOPHILLIPS COMPANYInventors: Jason BURKE, Paul CARMAN, Jason JONES, Michael LEONARD, Tyler LOWREY

Publication number: 20140257778Abstract: Systems and methods for forecasting ratios in hierarchies are provided. Hierarchies can be formed that have components, including a numerator time series with values from input data, a denominator time series with values from input data, and a ratio time series of the numerator time series over the denominator time series. The components can be modeled to generate forecasted hierarchies. The forecasted hierarchies can be reconciled so that the forecasted hierarchies are statistically consistent throughout nodes of the forecasted hierarchies.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 6, 2013Publication date: September 11, 2014Applicant: SAS Institute Inc.Inventors: Michael Leonard, Michele Angelo Trovero, David Bruce Elsheimer, Peter Dillman
