  • Publication number: 20080289766
Abstract: An apparatus with an edge ring configured to surround a perimeter of a semiconductor wafer in a semiconductor process, the edge ring having a plurality of protrusions located on an upper surface of the edge ring, the protrusions capable of preventing the semiconductor wafer from moving outside the bounds of a process plane. There is also an apparatus having a semiconductor process chamber and an electrostatic chuck, a semiconductor wafer, and an edge ring. There is also a method including providing a semiconductor process chamber, semiconductor wafer disposed within the semiconductor process chamber, and an edge ring, the edge ring having a plurality of protrusions located on an upper surface of the edge ring, the protrusions capable of preventing the semiconductor wafer from moving outside the bounds of a process plane. The method also includes performing an etch process on the semiconductor wafer.

  • Patent number: 6637620
Abstract: An apparatus for sampling perfume includes a card dispenser which includes a built-in atomizer. The dispenser is operated by a simple control which applies a scent onto a card and ejects the card from the dispenser. The dispenser is preferably designed to be resistant to theft. In this regard, the size and appearance of the dispenser may be sufficient to dissuade a shoplifter. Alternatively, the dispenser can be locked to a display counter. According to one of the methods of the invention, the cards dispensed from the dispenser bear advertising indicia indicating the name of the perfume. According to another method of the invention cards are provided with indicia indicating a discount coupon for the perfume purchase.

  • Patent number: 5507378
Abstract: A parking meter coin box receptacle retrofits into an existing parking meter while increasing the interior volume of the coin box receptacle, so that more coins can be accumulated between periodic emptying of the box. Moreover, the coin box receptacle includes an exterior display portion to hold a seal, in a secure visible position for locking with a bore within an interior rod within the receptacle. A fastener is in positional register with the seal, and a bore within the fastener accommodates a fiber optic strand within the seal fastener, to hold the locking rod in place and to indicate tampering when the fiber optic strand is cut. The exterior display portion of the coin box receptacle includes an outwardly facing window, so that the bar code on the seal fastener can be easily viewed while the seal fastener is in place in a locked position.
